which he mentors owners of
businesses across the Western Slope of Colorado. He is also an
executive coach who works with C-level executives in transition across
the country, helping them to increase their effectiveness
as business leaders.
Additionally,
Jerry is the President of Progressive
Business Investment Network, LLC as
a real estate investor with holdings across
the country. He is also
the President of the Problem Solution
Center, LLC, through which he provides mediation services across
Colorado.
Jerry
Pradier spent 28 years as an officer in the US Air Force as a bomber
pilot and
as a personnel specialist, strategic planning expert, and senior
training and
education expert rising to the rank of lieutenant colonel. During this
same
period, he founded four successful and profitable private businesses,
all of
which were subsequently disbanded due to frequent official moves.
After
his retirement from the Air Force, Pradier was recruited to reorganize
a
private security company—the 55th
ranked
security company in the United States--and subsequently became the
company’s Chief Information Officer. Continuing his career in the
private
sector, he has held positions as Corporate Manager and Special
Assistant to the
CEO before founding his current business enterprise, the Progressive
Business
Development Network, which focuses on
providing
practical
management expertise to solve recurring management problems.
Pradier
holds masters degrees in Management from Troy State University,
European
Division, specializing in Marketing and Personnel Management; in
Philosophy
from the State University of New York at Albany; a certification in
Organizational Development from the Air Force’s Leadership and
Management
Development Center; and, a certification in Leadership Development from
Harvard
University’s Kennedy School of Government. He is a published author and
speaker
on a number of business and personal development topics.
In 2005, he became
certified as a
peer
coach to newly accredited Executives. During this same year,
he was
appointed to Colorado’s Small Business Council to serve as a
resource to
the Governor and the General Assembly on statewide business issues, and
serve
as a business advocate and, in 2007, he accepted an appointment to the
Colorado Workforce Investment Board. His coaching and mentoring
experience led to his accreditation as an executive coach and the
founding of Progressive Executive
Development Network.
Pradier
is a
renowned business trainer and author who also
presents workshops and seminars for various non-profit and governmental
organizations across western Colorado on a wide range of business
topics. He
trains and certifies counselors and instructors for the Institute for Civic Achievement. In 2007
he received certification as a mediator through the Institute for
Advanced Dispute Resolution of Colorado State University.
Pradier also hosts the program, Progressive
Business, broadcast
daily on Aspen,
Colorado’s Grassroots TV.
